Finding the Perfect Fit for Your Little Peeps

Sure, our sunnies look amazing, but properly fitting sunglasses are actually essential for serious sun protection.
Here's how to find your perfect match.

Sunglasses 101: The Measurements That Matter

FRAME WIDTH

This is the total width of the sunglasses from temple to temple. Our frames range from 110mm to 126mm. Too narrow means pinching; too wide means sliding off.

LENS WIDTH

The width of each lens, which determines how much coverage your child's eyes get.

LENS HEIGHT

The height of each lens, providing vertical coverage for maximum protection.

BRIDGE WIDTH

This is the bridge piece that sits on your child's nose. Our bridges range from 12mm to 19mm. The right fit stays put without pinching.

TEMPLE LENGTH

Also called "arms," these extend from the frame to behind the ears. Our temples range from 100mm to 135mm. The right length keeps sunnies secure and comfortable behind the ears.

Not sure which size to choose? Here's a simple way to find the right fit:

Measure your child's face width from temple to temple (the widest part of their head, just above the ears)

Look for frames that are slightly wider than this measurement (within 5mm is ideal) in the Frame Width column below

If your child's face measures 105mm, look for frames 105-115mm wide in the Frame Width column below.

Full Product Specifications

Let's be real. Getting tots to wear sunglasses can feel like teaching a fish to juggle, but with these tips, you'll get there!

• Start early. Introduce sunglasses from an early age, ideally between 12-24 months when habits stick best.

• Make them routine. Part of "getting ready" right along with shoes and hats.

• Model the behavior. Wear your own sunnies regularly (monkey see, monkey do!)

• Practice at home. Try them on indoors first so they get used to the feeling before heading outside.

• Don't make a big deal when they take them off, just redirect and reapply. If they take them off 17 times in 5 minutes, consistency is key, not perfection.
